Using a conventional 50mm lens and an analog Reflex camera Praktica, I made this picture several years ago under dark skies. I have just scanned it and enhanced digitally the contrast.

M31 is the big galaxy visible in the upper side. Another galaxy is also visible at bottom side. It is called M33 or the Triangulum Galaxy. An open cluster at left side is also observable.
