Using a 300mm telephoto lens and an analog Reflex camera Praktica, I got this image several years ago. Lately I have scanned it and retouched in order to enhance the contrast and crop the frame correctly.

M45 is a big open cluster in northern hemisphere located in Taurus constellation. Best equipment to its observation are binoculars. A blueish reflection nebula is visible in the background. I have never been able to observe it directly, only through photography.

There is an artifact at right side. It is due to an unclean scanner. Sorry.
