What is this? A star trailing photo?

No, it is a spinning Paella pan.

Paella is a traditional and famous Spanish dish: a rice and seafood dish flavored with saffron and tomatoes.

Paella is traditionally cooked in a pan called paellera: round, black, with little white spots and two handles pan.

We was very boring at the kitchen, we started to spin a paellera and voilą! a star trailing image. Serendipitously, we discovered this weird and fake astrophoto.

This photo was shot with a pocket digital camera (Casio Exilim EX-Z8).

I studied abarod in Madrid my sophomore year! You're making me miss it so much - these are three of my favorite things (that I've also posted about on my blog)...Now let's just get a lovely Spanish bakery to move in next to my apartment and I will be set. =)

If you'd like to make a Paella de Verduras (vegetables) you can use the folllowing iniendgrets: red bell pepper, string beans, green peas, carrots, zucchini, tomato, onion, garlic, sweet and spicy paprika, parsley, saffron and vegetable stock.I haven't tried making it but I am sure you could use tofu, alga wakame and even hiziki for that seafood flavor! Good luck! do let me know how it turns out! ^^)
