Several shots of the Moon taken through the Dobsonian Meade Lightbridge 16″ reflector telescope had been stacked into this image. I used Registax and Paint Shop Pro.

30 individual frames has been necessary to create this mosaic of Tycho crater and the South Pole region of the Moon.

It's a very cute crater. I like it!

I would like know about the crater name. Who was Tycho? Was he a astronomer? When and where does he live? And what does he do?

I guess this name is a homage to a astronomy celebrity... isn't it?
