Mare Humorum

With a diameter of 389 kilometers, Mare Humorum is a Lunar feature very similar in shape and size to Mare Crisium. Located at South of Oceanus Procellarum it becomes visible from 3 days before Full Moon. At North, it is found a big crater called Gassendi.

This image was taken with a 150mm reflector telescope and a handheld pocket digital camera.

It is also visible Tycho crater at South, and Copernicus and Kepler at North.
