Was able to catch a lunar transit of the International Space Station last night! I shot it as a video and this is 20 frames combined to show the path of the transit. The whole transit lasted 0.6 seconds. So short because the ISS orbits earth at a rate of 17,150 miles per hour. I was lucky to get invited to the backyard of another member of an astrophotography special interest group I belong to, as you have to be in precisely the right place at the right time to catch something like this. The ISS is dark because it was in Earth's shadow. As always, ask me anything about astrophotography!
