One of the easiest and brightest double stars in northern sky is Mizar and Alcor, located in Ursa Major. With no telescope nor telephoto lens I took yesterday night this image, just using the conventional Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 Lens and Canon EOS 450d (Rebel XSi) DSLR camera.
I shot 10 subframes of 10 seconds each and then stacked'em up with Nebulosity2 software.
