I've been going through pictures that I haven't processed, that I took last year. This one was taken in Joshua Tree National Park. I remember it was freezing cold and it was so dark you could hardly see what was in front of you - yet I found this tree and soon the skies cleared up; I got in the zone, and forgot how cold I was.
