Sagittarius is a constellation well-known by amateur astronomers, because you may find there many deep sky objects, star clusters and nebulae. Spectacular fuzzy objects are for example the Trifid Nebula (M20) and the Omega Nebula (M17), that may be seen through binoculars.

On the right side, the clouds surrounding Rho Ophiuchus star system are one of the closer star-forming regions in our galaxy.
